Amrize is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support a wide range of key HR initiatives and act as a point-person for frontline leaders. The role involves coaching, conducting investigations, ensuring compliance with laws, supporting talent acquisition, and assisting with onboarding activities.

Responsibilities

Provides general coaching to frontline supervisors on employee relations matters
Conducts investigations for select employee relations claims
Actively engages in communications with other HR team members around best practices and identifies opportunities to create consistency where necessary
Supports the HR Manager with employee relations issues
Ensures field operations are in compliance with various governmental laws and regulations around EEOC, Wage Hour, workers’ comp., disability, FMLA etc
Supports the implementation of Corporate Human Resources programs and policies for the business
Supports the HR Manager with appropriate company resources to resolve any litigation or legal issues
Supports talent acquisition activities for exempt positions, including preparing offer letters
Actively supports the HR Director/Manager with onboarding and orientation activities for exempt and non-exempt employees
Supports the HR community with HR-related projects for the immediate, as well as country-wide operations
Conducts HR-related research and performs analytical work in support of business issues
Supports completing investigations into employee/supervisor disputes or issues related to company policy, pay and training
Serves as back-up supporting HR Manager as required
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas

Required

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years working as an HR Generalist, Specialist, or Business Partner
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other applications
Ability to travel out of state up to 10%
Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills with a high degree of thoroughness and accuracy
Ability to multi-task
Strong project management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Successful HR track record with progressive responsibilities
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators

Preferred

Field of Study Preferred: Human Resources or Related Field
HRIS experience strongly preferred
