Responsibilities
This opportunity will involve working with team members of FPGA/ISP engineers to design and develop high performance camera and vision system of next generation Visualization/Navigation related to Endoscopy
Responsibilities include implementing image signal processing using MATLAB and Verilog, simulating and verifying frameworks to ensure mathematically correct logic before hardware deployment, collaborating with software/embedded engineers to integrate FPGA into larger system and hand-on lab environment
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's, (Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering)
Hardware design Combinational and sequential logic circuit and system designs
Hardware Description Language (Verilog or VHDL)
FPGA structure and hands on project using FPGA and HDL
CPU/GPU architecture, memory interface and management, bus concepts, DMA and interrupt control
Principles and fundamental techniques for image Processing and Computer Vision
Programming aspect of vision and image formation
Strong coding skills in C, MATLAB and Verilog
Preferred
Previous applicable intern, co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred
