Professional Engineer
Cayley Aerospace Inc is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead and support engineering projects across design, analysis, and implementation phases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence and regulatory awareness while ensuring compliance with safety standards and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Create and review engineering designs, specifications, and plans for mechanical, civil, or electrical systems
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Ensure all engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
Approve and seal engineering documents; conduct peer reviews and quality assurance checks
Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Guide junior engineers and support their professional development
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree from ABET-EAC Accredited USA University or Engineering Council UK Approved Engineering Degree holders in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering from UK Universities
BSc degree must be from UK/US university only along with MSc degree from UK University for CEng
UK MRA candidates with PE must be British UK degree holders only
Equivalent qualification is not acceptable for this program as per the set guidelines of Clients & Stakeholders
PE License in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering & Architects
Architects are required in the Construction Engineer department
PE license holders who are CEng assessed by Society of Operations Engineer SOE, RAeS, ICE, IStructE, IMechE are only eligible
Applicants must have work authorization or permanent right to work in the United States
US person is mandatory requirement, as the company has no H1/L1 sponsorship at this time
