Responsibilities
Oversees processes and directs day-to-day work related to patient accounts
Resolve team member inquiries and escalate issues to managements as needed
Participates in hiring, orientation, training, scheduling and provides day-to-day operational supervision for assigned staff
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor and other leadership in developing and implementing policies and procedures
Assist in identifying and resolving issues to assure high quality, efficient, and cost effective services consistent with the needs of the organization
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a medical office or billing environment with medical billing and collections required
Working knowledge of medical terminology required
A desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling career
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data including explanation of benefits from all payers
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to read and write legibly and understand/follow written and verbal directions
Must be able to operate computer and have necessary keyboarding skills to function in assigned Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
A positive and team-oriented attitude
Must possess organizational and self-motivational skills in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Proven sound judgement and ability to work within delegated authority
Preferred
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
