Responsibilities
Proactively identify and engage new leads through outbound outreach, conferences, webinars, and inbound inquiries
Conduct discovery calls to understand each organization’s workflow, challenges, and goals
Deliver compelling product demos that illustrate how our software solves real-world problems for shelters and rescues
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle
Coordinate with onboarding and client services teams to ensure smooth handoff after closing deals
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in the CRM
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, sheltering practices, and product updates
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of sales experience (SaaS, software, or nonprofit sales preferred)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfort with technology and ability to learn software workflows quickly
High level of organization and follow-through
Ability to manage a consultative sales process from first contact to close
A motivated self-starter with empathy and passion for helping mission-driven organizations
Up to 50% travel to meet with potential and current clients and attend conferences
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be located within the vicinity of a major airport
Willingness to travel: 25% (Required)
Bachelor's (Required)
Preferred
Experience selling SaaS solutions
Background working in or with animal shelters, rescues, or animal control, or other animal welfare-related organizations such as microchip companies
Familiarity with CRM tools
Experience conducting virtual demos
Bilingual
Sales: 4 years (Preferred)
