National Sales Representative
ACI Transport is a third-party logistics provider servicing a large variety of clientele across the United States. The National Sales Representative exists to find and develop business opportunities while spreading awareness of ACI Transport, focusing on connections and furthering the financial goals of the company.
Responsibilities
New Customer Prospecting by independently identifying, qualifying, and developing business relationships with a need to move freight
Management of Existing Customers through consultation on potential needs, advice, quoting freight moves, and servicing won orders
Meet financial goals for Revenue and Gross Profit
Maintain an organized book of business by means of ACI Transport's CRM system
Make Cold-Calls and send emails to prospective clients
Build and manage orders in the company TMS
Collaborate with team members throughout ACI Transport to support won business and account hand offs, when necessary
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends including carrier rates, load/trailer capacities, fuel rates, company mergers, etc
Resolve issues for customers and team members on owned loads effectively and honestly
Autonomously manage your time, priorities, and workload to continue to grow revenue and gross profit targets
Secure feedback and testimonials from clients and prospects
Phone calls, sales activities, attend meetings and adding new customers
Qualification
Required
Experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics or transportation
Ability to independently identify, qualify, and develop business relationships
Strong communication skills for making cold calls and sending emails to prospective clients
Experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships
Ability to meet financial goals for Revenue and Gross Profit
Strong organizational skills to maintain an organized book of business
Understanding of industry trends including carrier rates, load/trailer capacities, and fuel rates
Ability to resolve issues effectively and honestly for customers and team members
Self-motivated with the ability to autonomously manage time, priorities, and workload
