Start in 2026 SummerParkview Health is a healthcare organization seeking a Health & Well-Being Summer Non-Clinical Intern to support their Food Is Medicine initiatives. The intern will assist with program planning, implementation, and evaluation, while engaging in various nutrition-related projects and collaborating closely with a team of registered dietitians.

Responsibilities
Assist with program planning, implementation, and evaluation
Attend daily meetings
Collaborate closely with the team
Maintain the recipe library
Update educational materials
Support the development of an electronic library of nutrition resources
Integrate scopes of work into the Food Is Medicine strategy
Build a comprehensive electronic resource library
Host tastings at the HEAL Farm Market
Collaborate on a group project determined during the program
Qualification
Required
Must be current undergraduate college student or graduate college student
Strong communication skills
Prior public speaking experience
Experience working directly with the public—particularly with vulnerable populations
Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
Familiar with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
GPA of 3.0 or above
Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation
Preferred
Pursuing a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, or a closely related field that supports the goals of the Food Is Medicine initiative
Experience with website development
Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of internship
Specific license and/or certification may be preferred depending on the hosting department of internship
Other qualifications may vary by department of internship
