Assistant Teaching Professor in Finance
The University of Rhode Island's College of Business is seeking a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor in Finance for the 2025-2026 academic year. The role involves teaching courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels while actively participating in university and community service activities.

Qualification
Required
An MBA degree or Masters / Ph.D. degree related to Finance
Evidence of effective teaching
Demonstrated excellence in oral communication skills
Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations
Demonstrated commitment to actively participate in service and outreach activities
Preferred
Have a CFA or CFP designation and experience in developing CFP-related curriculum
Possess relevant finance industry experience to enhance teaching, service, networking and student advising
Demonstrated strong connections with the industry to support student internship advising
Demonstrated experience in online teaching
