Responsibilities
Lead and oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams across multiple active projects
Serve as a senior, client-facing leader, building strong customer relationships and supporting repeat business
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements
Own project and departmental P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin management
Establish and enforce standardized project management processes, reporting, and controls
Act as the escalation point for complex project, financial, or operational issues
Champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all projects
Mentor and develop project and field leadership, support staffing and performance management
Partner cross-functionally with sales, estimating, finance, and operations to drive successful execution
Provide performance reporting, insights, and recommendations to division leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or MEP construction, with progressive leadership responsibility
Proven experience leading project teams and managing multiple concurrent projects
Demonstrated ownership of project financial performance and P&L accountability
Strong understanding of construction operations, contracts, scheduling, and cost controls
Experience implementing and enforcing safety, quality, and operational standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard project reporting tools
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, as needed
Ability to climb ladders and access job sites, rooftops, and mechanical spaces on an as-needed basis
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites, including walking up to approximately 5,000 steps in a workday
Ability to safely operate, or be trained to operate, forklifts and other equipment as required for the role
Ability to distinguish colors as required for safety, equipment identification, and diagnostics
