Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of California workers’ compensation defense matters from initiation to resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Take and defend depositions
Appear at hearings, mediations, and trials before the WCAB
Communicate with clients, carriers, and claims adjusters regarding case strategy and status
Provide case evaluations, reports, and settlement recommendations
Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case files

Defense workers' compensation attorneyCalifornia bar admissionMicrosoft WordMicrosoft OutlookWorkers' compensation experience

Required

3-4 years of experience as a defense workers' compensation attorney
Must be barred in California
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Experience in the workers' compensation industry
