CW Water Electrolysis Research Scientist

They are seeking a Water Electrolysis Research Scientist to investigate non-PGM electrocatalysts for AEM water electrolysis and contribute to related projects, while performing electrochemical and physical characterization of materials.

Responsibilities
Investigate non-PGM electrocatalysts for AEM water electrolysis, identifying promising candidates for further development
Integrate catalyst with ionomers to fabricate and optimize non-PGM AEM electrodes
Perform electrochemical and physical characterization of electrocatalyst materials and electrolysis cells
Conduct durability testing to study degradation mechanisms, and develop mitigation strategies to improve AEM electrode durability
Contribute to related projects, such as proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis or fuel cells, as assigned
Prepare and evaluate technical plans, reports, presentations, and proposals to support project success
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or closely related field
Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary research environment
Preferred
Hand-on experience in electrocatalyst synthesis, electrode fabrication, and electrochemical characterization
Extensive experience in AEM water electrolysis or related electrochemical energy conversion technologies
