Program Manager

Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board Inc is seeking a Program Manager responsible for overall management and compliance of the program. The role involves overseeing program activities, managing budgets, writing reports, and supervising staff while fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain program budgets and ensure transactions are handled in a timely manner and consistent with GPTLHB policies
Manage staff time, attendance, work productivity and performance reviews
Write and ensure submission of a wide range of reports including, but not limited to, progress reports, annual reports, and internal reports
Identify funding opportunities for the continuation of existing projects as well as new projects and assist with grant writing
Oversee the execution of all program activities in line with the work plan and deadlines
Ensure program compliance with the funding agency
Aid in promoting and marketing the program and its services; oversee the creation of all promotional/marketing materials
Foster professional relationships and communicate regularly with stakeholders to strengthen program collaborations and partnerships
Responsible for ensuring all expenditures are in accordance with OMB Uniform Guidance and are supported with proper documentation
Analyzes and evaluates contract and grant budgets for correct calculation of expenditure categories such as salaries, percent of effort, salary adjustment increases, fringe benefits, indirect costs, materials, and equipment
Manage all data, reports, and documents in an organized manner
Review all Notice of Awards Conditions

Required

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience, or associate's degree and three (3) years' experience, or high school diploma or GED and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience
Current experience – One (1) year supervisory experience
Previous grant experience
Three (3) years of service at Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board/Oyate Health Center; or demonstrated proficiency as POSITION at Level I
Masters + 3 years; or Five (5) years of service at Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board/Oyate Health Center; or demonstrated proficiency as POSITION at Level II
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of South Dakota
Participates in Core Connections training and applies GPTLHB Core Connections concepts and practices in their work
Familiarity and/or experience working with American Indian populations and respect for and knowledge of traditional, cultural, and spiritual practices of diverse American Indian communities, as well as an ability to work with other culturally and ethnically diverse populations
Proficiency with computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other Internet technologies
Valid driver's license must be kept current, and certificates, credentials or licenses must be kept current and consistent with regulations required by applicable federal, state and/or grant regulations as applies to position
Work in a cooperative and professional manner with OHC and GPTLHB staff
Treat Great Plains tribes and collaborators with dignity and respect
Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills
Advance personal educational development by attending training sessions and seminars as appropriate
Exemplify excellent customer service with tribal stakeholders, health board colleagues, program partners, service recipients, visitors and guests
