As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students across various grade levels and disabilities, providing individualized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student growth.

Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet student needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
active Special Education Teacher license
minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Preferred
Masters preferred
