The role involves working closely with the accounting department to assist with recording ongoing business activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities
Assist with data entry, maintenance and monthly closing of general ledger
Accounts Receivable management and customer contact
Maintain Continuing Property Records
Maintain inventory records and prepare monthly material summary
Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly billing
Maintain Plant Under Construction records including monthly closing of work orders
Assist with monthly preparation of financial statements
Assist with regulatory filings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required; experience or alternative degree may be considered in lieu of required education
Exceptional working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Proficient in operating a personal computer and software applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs required
Preferred
Experience working in the Telecommunications Industry a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
