InternForesite Cybersecurity is seeking a Security Engineer Intern for their SecOps platform, where the intern will focus on threat research and automation. The primary mission involves building detection logic and automation to neutralize threats, alongside developing key security engineering skills.

Responsibilities
Detection Engineering: Write and test correlation rules to identify malicious patterns such as lateral movement and data exfiltration
SOAR Playbook Development: Design and implement automated workflows (Playbooks) to automate incident response
Log Parsing: Create and maintain Parsers to ensure diverse data sources are correctly mapped to our Unified Data Model (UDM)
Visual Analytics: Build intuitive Dashboards for real-time visibility into threat landscapes
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of threat research and automation
Experience with SIEM/SOAR products
Ability to write and test correlation rules
Understanding of malicious patterns such as lateral movement and data exfiltration
Experience in designing and implementing automated workflows (Playbooks)
Ability to create and maintain Parsers for data mapping
Skills in building intuitive Dashboards for visual analytics
