They are seeking an accomplished Vice President to lead their Bartow operations, focusing on strategic vision, business development, and operational leadership to drive growth and enhance client relationships.
Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership for Bartow operations, ensuring alignment with Madrid’s overall strategy and values
Serve as a primary client-facing leader, cultivating long-term relationships with owners, contractors, developers, and industry partners
Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow revenue and expand service offerings
Oversee financial performance, including P&L responsibility, budgets, and forecasting
Ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met across all disciplines
Mentor and develop senior managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
Represent Madrid in professional and community organizations, enhancing our presence and influence in the industry
Partner with the executive team to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and organizational growth
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the engineering or construction industry
Strong business development skills with a track record of driving revenue growth
Experience managing P&L responsibilities and financial performance
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
Expertise in strategic planning and execution
Strong understanding of quality and safety standards in engineering and construction
Ability to mentor and develop senior managers and staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, or related fields
Established network within the industry, including owners, contractors, and developers
Experience representing a firm in professional and community organizations
