Qualification

Master's degree in communicationValid lifetime credentialBachelor's degree in communicationSensitivity to diverse backgrounds

Required

Master's degree in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication or organizational communication; OR

Bachelor's in any of the above AND a Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication or English; OR

A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an Communications Studies Instructor in a California Community College; OR

The equivalent; AND

Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment
