Roadway Engineer

Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Transportation team as a Roadway Engineer. The role involves leading roadway design tasks, developing and reviewing plan sets, and serving as the roadway project lead as necessary.

Responsibilities

Leading roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design
Developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and associated documents
Serving as roadway project lead as necessary
A valid license and some travel will be required

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least six years of relevant work experience
PE license in any state (preferably South Carolina), or the ability to obtain within six months of hire

Preferred

MicroStation/Geopak and ORD software
SCDOT and municipal roadway design projects
SCDOT experience, including Design Directives and Standard Specifications
MS Office including Project
