Our client, Strategic Staffing Solutions, is seeking a Mechanical CAD Drafter responsible for Gas Transmission Drafting & Design Support of gas plant facilities. The role involves creating and editing CAD drawings, updating materials lists, and adhering to company drafting standards.

Responsibilities
Create new, or edit existing, 2D CAD drawings
Create or update materials lists, as necessary
Adhere to company filing system, CAD, and Drafting Standards along with company drafting techniques
Attend project meetings when requested
Field visits to take digital photographs and measurements
Perform self-check of work and other required documentation
Qualification
Required
Responsible for business unit Gas Transmission Drafting & Design Support of the gas plant facilities and all drawing modifications as directed by management
Provide quality CAD drafting support for legacy as-built project utilizing AutoCAD 2024, working under the guidance of a Contract Mechanical Designer and/or Transmission Drafting Supervisor
Create new, or edit existing, 2D CAD drawings
Create or update materials lists, as necessary
Adhere to company filing system, CAD, and Drafting Standards along with company drafting techniques
Attend project meetings when requested
Field visits to take digital photographs and measurements
Perform self-check of work and other required documentation
