Product Owner and Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Work with Product Managers to define and clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to align with customer needs and business objectives
Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and high‑quality functional requirements
Partner with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather feedback and translate it into actionable work items
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Track and communicate team performance metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown, etc.)
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines or product quality
Work closely with software developers, testers, UX designers, and leadership

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field—OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development
Proven experience delivering software products using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience translating user needs into actionable requirements and user stories
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools
Familiarity with Git source control, Azure DevOps, Figma and Snyk
Demonstrated ability to understand software workflows and describe front end and back end functionality
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
