They are seeking a Research Associate I (GIS Technician) to assist with the collection, entry, and curation of spatial data for research projects within the Children's Environmental Health Initiative.

Technical support for GIS related research projects
Data processing (e.g., geocoding)
Dataset management
Participate in other duties and related projects as assigned
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field
A minimum of one year related research experience (including part-time research assistantship experience)
Entry level knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures
Experience batch geocoding large datasets
Ability to write technical documents and research reports
Ability to work in a team-based environment; meet deadlines in a fast-paced multitasking environment
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
