Health and Benefits Midwest Region Leader

Responsibilities
Develop and/or contribute to annual plan and budget, delivering planned performance and ensuring the region generates revenue, profit, and market share growth in accordance with region’s plan
Primary accountability for leading and executing a business strategy to gain market share, through new client acquisition and expanding relationships with current clients to meet annual revenue goals in all segments
Collaborate with H&B Office Local Leaders, Geography Leaders, Producers, Senior Sellers, and other sales teams to identify, develop and close sales opportunities
Build relationships with internal and external sources to build external WTW brand and maximize the penetration of key target accounts
Identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services
Develop and execute strategic regional staffing plans, including colleague experience (e.g., attraction, retention, colleague engagement and development, goal setting and performance management, and compensation recommendations)
Work across segments to meet overall region objectives
Responsible for all aspects of delivery of WTW products and services for the H&B business. Collaborate with the NA Leaders to develop client strategies to deepen, broaden and build profitable relationships, including the management and deployment of staff to effectively deliver client work
Support the development, commercialization, and dissemination of intellectual capital in the region
Ensure appropriate governance and work quality processes are completed on all work delivered. Ensure regional adherence to H&B Excellence Model
Identify and lead broad team of senior colleagues including OLLs and other leaders named to deliver on plan
Collaborate across Geography and Segments to effectively pursue and deliver on multi-faceted opportunities
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in leading and developing Health & Benefits teams
Strong experience successfully leading teams through change
Strong experience in developing and managing an active talent pipeline
Proven record of generating revenue with new or existing clients and managing a profitable P&L
Deep knowledge and expertise in health and benefits design and management
Track record of success in managing and expanding client relationships
Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
An executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills
Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health care and benefit trends and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches
In-depth knowledge of the market, H&B NA capabilities, and broader WTW offerings
Results-oriented with ability to effectively deliver on KPIs
Ability to reason through various problems that may arise while also having difficult discussions with key stakeholders around the decision
