Responsibilities

Perform pre- and post-laboratory procedures for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases
Areas of focus: Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, and Urinalysis
Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab analyzers, including troubleshooting and repairs
Conduct quality control, preventative maintenance, and inventory management
Verify, document, and communicate critical values per hospital policy
Ensure timely reporting of results and prioritize STAT specimens appropriately
Efficiently use reagents and laboratory materials

Qualification

MLT certificationBLS certificationHematology experienceFluid cell countsQuality controlDetail-orientedOrganizational skills

Required

Certification: MLT and BLS
Minimum 2+ years of experience

Preferred

3–5 years of experience (hematology experience preferred)
Experience with fluid cell counts and differentials
