The technologist will independently perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures using appropriate techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently using proper imaging techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration
Operate imaging equipment and ensure all systems are maintained in safe, working condition
Administer medications and perform venipuncture according to licensure and scope of practice
Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure compliance with departmental and state regulations
Coordinate patient flow and daily operations within the Nuclear Medicine department
Document and manage patient data using EPIC electronic health records
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
May assist with procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
Participate in on-call rotations when required
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree
Current CPR Certification
Nuclear Medicine Registry (ARRT)
MA license
2+ years experience
GE experience
Proficiency with EPIC required
Strong understanding of Nuclear Medicine procedures and safety protocols
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Commitment to maintaining high-quality imaging and patient safety
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree (optional)
Additional modality certifications
4 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
