Start in 2026 SummerMoody's Analytics is a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, and they are seeking an Enterprise Monitoring Intern to join their Enterprise Observability & Automation team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with global monitoring systems, collaborating with experienced engineers to support real-world operations and improve the performance of enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring daily operations using tools such as BMC Helix Operations Manager (BHOM), Dynatrace and SolarWinds
Help build dashboards, alerts, and reports that visualize system health and availability
Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for performance and availability issues
Support configuration reviews, testing, and documentation of monitoring processes
Learn scripting and automation basics (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to streamline tasks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, Infrastructure, Automation and ServiceNow)
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of Windows, Linux, or cloud environments
Interest in learning enterprise monitoring, automation, and IT operations
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn from experienced engineers
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Graduation date of December 2026 - June 2028
Ability to work during program dates: June 1st - August 7th 2026
Preferred
Familiarity with tools like BMC Helix, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog
Exposure to ITIL, APIs, or JSON/log analysis
