Responsibilities

Assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits

Completing financial clearance functions

Collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, and patient liability at the time of service

Greeting and serving patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner

Gathering information while adhering to regulation and compliance requirements and guidelines and documenting it timely and accurately

Qualification

Preferred

Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration

3 years experience within Patient Access of Business office setting

Experience with insurance eligibility systems

3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting

Knowledge in medical billing codes

1 year knowledge of Epic Applications
