The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting critical business decisions through complex account reconciliations and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly

Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement

Manage and execute month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a new software implementation (prior UAT experience not required, but must be willing to be trained)(UAT testing OR Parallel Testing experience preferred)

Assist with process improvements and contribute to system enhancements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

Proven experience with: Complex reconciliations

Proven experience with: Variance analysis

Proven experience with: Month-end close

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with large ERP systems

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

UAT testing OR Parallel Testing experience preferred
