Responsibilities
Lead financial operations across corporate and project-level accounting
Support strategic growth initiatives and manage audits
Ensure financial compliance and prepare documentation for audit readiness twice annually
Oversee accounting personnel with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
Handle financial compliance, including quarterly reporting tied to loan agreements
Manage payroll, ERP systems, and multi-state tax preparation
Engage in budgeting and forecasting on the project-side (30–40%) and month-end reporting on the corporate-side (60–70%)
Qualification
Required
Expertise in construction accounting
Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Leadership development skills
Experience in compliance and internal control
Knowledge of Viewpoint and audit preparation
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a controller role within construction
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Proficiency in Excel data entry
