Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Collaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Quarterly reports to department managers
Sales tax return

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of Generally accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
