Responsibilities
Assisting with employment-based cases, as well as some family-based and naturalization cases
Drafting forms and support letters for review by attorneys and senior team members
Preparing petition and application packages for final review and signature by attorneys before submission to government agencies
Organizing and maintaining accurate records in immigration case management systems for all assigned matters
Reviewing intake documentation needed for specific case types to ensure accuracy and completeness
Performing statutory, regulatory, case law, and public records research to understand legal requirements that apply to specific cases, when necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
At least five years of experience handling employment-based immigration matters
Experience preparing H-1B, L-1, E, and TN visa petitions
Experience preparing I-140 immigrant petitions
Experience preparing Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications
Strong experience with PERM labor certification filings
Experience preparing responses to both nonimmigrant (NIV) and immigrant (IV) Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
Excellent case management and organizational skills
Proficient with technology
Strong communication and writing abilities with close attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with Immigration Tracker, INSZoom, or similar immigration case management software
Paralegal certification or a degree from an accredited college or university
