Program Manager

The SGL Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential programs, ensuring compliance with individual plans and regulatory standards while promoting independence and quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities
Uphold KCARC’s quality policy by striving to continuously improve service delivery and exceed customer expectations
Serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) as required by the Indiana State Department of Health
Develop, implement, and maintain Person Centered Individual Program Plans (PCIPPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), ensuring goals are documented and progress is tracked
Participate actively in Person-Centered Planning meetings and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to guide the delivery of services. Attend all quarterly, annual, and IDT meetings
Promote KCARC’s mission and values through positive leadership, professional communication, and accountability
Ensure everyone has appropriate clothing, personal hygiene items, and other essential needs
Conduct home visits to monitor program implementation, observe service delivery, and verify that staff are following support plans
Provide on-site support to assigned group homes as needed to ensure quality care and employee competency
Fill open shifts when necessary to maintain coverage and support program operations
Manage and approve direct support professional (DSP) schedules, time entries, and paid time off (PTO) requests
Review and approve billing entries to ensure accuracy in service codes, times, and documentation
Monitor employee time approval
Assign and monitor completion of safety drills in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
Monitor food purchases and maintain adequate household supplies
Conduct inspections to maintain pest-free, clean, and safe environments
Maintain accurate property lists
Serve as part of an on-call rotation for SGL only
Report all incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor and ensure required documentation is completed
Participate in internal and external audits, assist with root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions as directed
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and mutual accountability
Meet all deadlines for reports, PCIPP updates, and data reviews
Maintain open communication through phone, email, memos, and other professional channels
Adhere to confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA and agency privacy policies
Complete audits, competency checks, and other reviews as assigned
Be able to lift up to 75 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of person-centered planning, state regulations, and documentation requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and over 75 lbs. with assistance
Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours, valid driver's license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage
Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department
Possess excellent research and writing skills
Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office products
Accept responsibility and demonstrate leadership
Be able to multitask effectively in a sometimes fast paced environment
Bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (required)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
