Manages accounts receivable book of business to ensure payments are received for premiums owed by clients
Records daily, cash postings and transactions to reconcile accounts receivable
Maintains accounts receivable files and records
Assists in general financial management and analysis
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two (2) years of college education with focus on accounting or equivalent work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent numerical/analytical ability required for processing cash/check receipts while maintaining accurate customer accounts and performing collection efforts when necessary
Ability to plan work priorities and complete assignments in a timely manner
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and upper management
Preference for activities requiring high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to prepare periodic or single purpose reports
