Management Analyst I
The City of Mesa is seeking a Management Analyst I to join their Management Analyst Program, aimed at attracting professionals interested in local government management. This role involves preparing and administering the city's annual operating budget, multi-year revenue/expenditure projections, and supporting departmental operations through performance management analysis.
Responsibilities
Perform progressively responsible work in the preparation and administration of the City’s annual operating budget
Manage five-year Capital Improvement Program budget
Support performance management-related analysis and departmental operations
Supervise and assist in training interns
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Policy, or Public Affairs prior to start of employment (June 1, 2026) as a Management Analyst I
Must pass a background investigation through the City of Mesa Police Department, the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Federal Bureau of Investigation prior to commencing employment or assignment with the City of Mesa
