Responsibilities

Identifies and initiates cost reduction strategies
Directs and manages the operating and capital budgeting processes for the department, including the monitoring of actual costs against these budgets
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals
Directs overall operations and sets strategic direction of ambulatory care services and related programs and services
Prioritizes and implements quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and reporting for outpatient and ambulatory needs
Measures and monitors patient satisfaction, process indicators, quality improvement plans and outcomes in all departments
Coordinates all services and ensures that patient flow is optimized
Collaborates with Medical Directors and WUSM leadership to develop committees for ambulatory and outpatient initiatives

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Business/Healthcare related
5-10 years of experience
2-5 years of supervisor experience

Preferred

Master's Degree
