Responsibilities
Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to assigned book of commercial accounts
Quote, place new business, and remarket accounts at renewal as needed
Renew house accounts, including binding coverage, checking renewal policies, and coordinating policy delivery
Review accounts for additional coverages, negotiate optimum renewal terms, and assist with underwriting issues
Process audits, resolve audit disputes, and monitor monthly expiration lists for assigned accounts
Maintain professional relationships with customers, co-workers, and company representatives
Prepare accurate applications through agency management system and utilize company website portals for policy activities
Respond promptly to service requests and make qualified referrals to personal lines and life and health products
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience handling commercial accounts
Proficiency in EPIC and experience in handling CT/NY books
High School Graduate
Licensed P/C agent in resident state
Must be a resident of Connecticut or New York
Preferred
ACSR, AAI, or CIC professional designation desired
