Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in waiting areas, direct them to appropriate departments, and keep them informed of wait times

Promote a positive, customer-oriented demeanor

Perform patient-centered secretarial tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Receive and direct incoming calls, relay messages, and assist with physician schedule coordination

Required

1 year hospital experience preferred

Good communication skills

Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on customer service initiatives
