The Environmental & Sustainability Program Manager will develop and manage environmental compliance programs and sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint and ensure regulatory compliance across IDT’s operations.

Responsibilities

Ensures Environmental Performance through the development, implementation, and management of environmental programs across US and international sites

Drives critical programs such as CAA, RCRA, Stormwater, Wastewater, SPCC, TRI, etc., to reduce risks and company costs

Exhibits a working knowledge of global chemical substance regulations (REACH, TSCA, RoHS, CA Prop 65, etc.)

Lead sustainability programs by managing GHG reduction and tracking, recycling, and waste reduction initiatives (hazardous, non-hazardous, and recycling)

Assess and improve environmental impact through sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or other field

Years of experience in sustainability and environmental compliance programs

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and sustainability frameworks

Strong analytical, design and project management skills

Excellent in documentation and communication

Ability to travel as required (up to 15%, including overnight stays)

Preferred

Experience with global sustainability initiatives

Familiarity with environmental reporting tools and automation platforms
