Responsibilities
Create test equipment and fixtures tailored to specific products
Execute functional and integrity tests on electrical control systems and sub-assemblies
Collaborate with design engineers to understand product specifications and testing requirements
Conduct tests to validate the performance and functionality of products
Analyze test data to identify defects or areas for improvement
Report findings and suggest corrective actions
Provide guidance for regular maintenance and calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve test coverage and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field
1+ years of experience with functional testing of electronic systems and basic failure analysis techniques
Experience working with tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or C++
An understanding of circuit board components and basic diagnostic methods
Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred
Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or testing environment
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or willingness to obtain)
ISO 9001:215 awareness or training
Experience with Agile development practices
