Responsibilities

Comfortable engaging with production floor teams to gather insights and firsthand understanding of financial issues facing the organization

Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives

Agility in addressing immediate challenges and proposing effective alternatives

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks

Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for strategic projects

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting

Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing detailed explanations and action plans

Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational efficiency

Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field

4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role

Demonstrated positive impact in assessing financial risks and develop meaningful solutions

In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial statement analysis

Preferred

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and complex formula creation

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences to include all levels of management

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, other electronic database systems

Proficiency in financial reporting tools like Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or OneStream

Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards in the finance industry

Experience working in a multinational corporation or a publicly traded company
