Responsibilities
Prepare detailed plans and construction documents
Perform structural design calculations and analysis
Develop technical specifications and contract bid documents
Prepare technical reports
Lead site visits for condition inspections
Coordinate across disciplines and work in a team environment
Mentor and train junior staff
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering
PE License required (PA or NJ preferred)
A minimum of eight years of Structural Engineering experience with a focus on bridge design
Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design of structural projects
Proficient in both verbal and written communications
Preferred
rail experience
Experience with current FEM modeling software
Local rail client base (Amtrak, SEPTA, NJ TRANSIT)
