Responsibilities
Serve as a Solution Architect supporting and advising cloud architecture teams
Act as a strategic liaison between engineering groups, business stakeholders, and leadership
Drive cloud design discussions, requirements analysis, and high-level architecture decisions
Develop design templates, reference architectures, and scalable frameworks
Provide architectural oversight for solutions spanning extended/multi-cloud environments
Support cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and enterprise solution alignment
Work with data-center–adjacent systems, including data farm environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field -AND- 10+ years relevant experience
Master's Degree -AND- 7+ years relevant experience
3+ years hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps tools
Deep experience with AWS (required)
Strong knowledge of Linux OS, configuration, parameters, and administration
Experience with enterprise-level cloud architecture, infrastructure, automation, and solution design
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to facilitate and drive technical discussions
Strong triage, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Proficiency with documentation tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence)
Ability to operate above the architect level, guiding strategy and refining designs
Preferred
Experience with Azure (preferred)
Familiarity with GCP (bonus)
AWS and/or Azure Solution Architect certifications are highly preferred
Kubernetes (nice to have)
