Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, laboratory results, and response to treatments
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
Maintain infection control standards and patient safety protocols
Accurately document nursing care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
