Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of safety operations on active commercial construction projects
Ensure full OSHA compliance and implementation of company safety policies and procedures
Conduct daily safety meetings, site audits, and inspections
Complete accident reports and lead accident and incident investigations
Monitor and oversee all subcontractors and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards
Manage and enforce safety programs related to Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Proactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions before incidents occur
Present safety updates, findings, and recommendations to project leadership and senior stakeholders

Construction safety experienceCHST certificationOSHA 510 certificationSafety standards knowledgeCommunication skillsEmotional intelligenceLeadership skills

Required

Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
Degree in a safety related field
OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
CHST required
Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
Strong knowledge in civil, electrical, concrete, crane picks, and working at heights
Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to senior executives and project leadership
High emotional intelligence with the ability to deliver feedback constructively, without blame, and with a solutions-focused mindset
A confident, field-focused leader who can influence teams and drive positive safety behaviors
