New Grad, Entry LevelCity Language Centre is seeking a Prompt Engineer for a full-time on-site role in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. The Prompt Engineer will design, optimize, and refine prompts for language-based AI models, ensuring high performance and output quality through testing, collaboration, and documentation of best practices.

Design, optimize, and refine prompts to improve the performance and output quality of various language-based artificial intelligence models
Extensive testing and evaluation of prompt effectiveness
Collaboration with team members to understand project requirements
Documenting best practices for creating high-quality prompts
Staying updated with advancements in AI and contributing to innovative applications
Qualification
Required
Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Artificial Intelligence systems, or machine learning fundamentals
Proficiency in problem-solving, analytical skills, and advanced critical thinking
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java; familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks
Effective communication, collaboration skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear manner
Experience in prompt design, optimization, and understanding of large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT or similar
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving AI technologies and frameworks
Preferred
Familiarity with ethics in AI, bias detection, and user experience is a plus
