Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and commission a wide range of electrical/automation components--PLCs, HMIs, drives, servos, motors, sensors, power supplies
Update/modify and create new PLC and HMI programs, save parameter files, and manage software revisions
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems
Support emergency breakdowns to quickly restore equipment to operation
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve process bottlenecks and improve reliability
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical drawings
Participate in equipment startups, shutdowns, and improvement projects
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience working with PLC/HMI programming across multiple platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.)
Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to make accurate, safe electrical repairs
Ability to work independently and in team environments; strong communication skills
Preferred
Experience in continuous process or high-speed manufacturing preferred or system integration
