Responsibilities
Act as a senior CPA presence for client facing meetings, calls, and consultations
Help close New Clients by participating in discovery calls, scoping conversations, and explaining services
Answer client questions related to tax filings, bookkeeping, compliance, and general accounting matters
Review tax returns and related filings prepared by junior staff prior to submission
Provide guidance and feedback to junior team members to improve quality and consistency
Ensure work meets professional standards and regulatory requirements
Assist with complex or edge case client situations when needed
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license in good standing (will consider retirees as well)
7 plus years of experience in public accounting, tax, or advisory roles
Strong knowledge of individual and small business tax filings
Experience reviewing tax returns and supervising junior staff
Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking directly with clients
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-accountants
Preferred
NC Filing experience preferred
