Responsibilities
Support the Real Estate Transactions & Finance practice by engaging in a wide range of transactions
Negotiate and draft mortgage loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and manage closing checklists
Oversee closing documents and other fundamental real estate transaction documents
Demonstrate experience with mortgage debt financing transactions and purchase/sale transactions
Engage in retail and ground leasing, financing, construction, development, and joint ventures
Qualification
Required
3–6 years of broad transactional real estate experience
Demonstrated experience with mortgage debt financing transactions (preferably borrower-side) and purchase/sale transactions
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, collaborative mindset
Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working independently
Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction you are practicing
Preferred
Leasing and joint venture experience a plus
Experience negotiating and drafting commercial leases, joint ventures, construction, CC&Rs, REAs, Declarations and Easement Agreements being a plus
