Perform tax closings and related accounting work
Apply knowledge of tax law and tax planning strategies
Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation and review experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks and ability to perform tax closings
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in CCH Axcess and Microsoft Excel
Strong accounting-level knowledge of QuickBooks (not bookkeeping-level)
Familiarity with tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120S, K-1s, trusts, and estates
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
CPA or EA preferred, but not required
Weekend availability is preferred during tax season
