Technical Program Management II
Microsoft is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to join the Surface Post Launch Engineering team, focusing on driving excellence in product performance. Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to prioritize and deliver technical solutions in both software and hardware domains
Drive roadmap execution with minimal supervision, manage schedules, and support governance and release programs
Monitor product health using data from telemetry, customer support, and enterprise feedback to identify risks and drive data-informed decisions
Present program status and insights to engineering, business stakeholders, and senior leadership
Ensure consistent software release execution across Surface product lines
Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver timely fixes that improve customer satisfaction and meet business goals
Translate in-market learnings into actionable insights for future product development and influence Day-0 customer sentiment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Preferred
Exposure to Data Analysis tools (Power BI, KUSTO, Other) to effectively influence data-based decision-making
2 years of experience in program management or other engineering disciplines defining, driving, and shipping products through multiple ship cycles
4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects - defining, driving through multiple ship cycles
Experience in Software (OS) and Driver/Firmware dependencies and how they interface with Hardware
