Responsibilities
Be the product finance leader for a designated Surface product line
Build robust financial models and decision support frameworks with key partners in engineering and marketing to optimize the profitability of the device’s portfolio & model opportunities for improvement
Conduct financial analysis and statistical analysis to ensure business and financial success of new offerings from a unit, share, and profitability perspective
Support key financial rhythms across a variety of stakeholders including: marketing, engineering, and finance leaders
Recognize and understand underlying business and market drivers and the competitive landscape across PC landscape
Present strategic options and analysis to senior level stakeholders
Partner with other Surface finance teams to ensure appropriate landing of new offerings in overall finance ROB (reporting, target setting, budgeting, etc.)
Partner as appropriate with other businesses and finance teams, e.g. Windows and Office, to develop enterprise-wide device and service offerings
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
Preferred
Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles
1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization
